Graduation 2010 - Day 10 - The Make-Up, The Hair & Last Minute Preparation

First of all, I apologize for posting too little, and lazily. I'm so sorry guys :(

I'm just not into the mood & passion I used to have before deciding to post this thingy.
So now, let's move to make-up, hair and last minute preps.

~Make-Up~

1. Day
- watch this video by Michelle Phan, you can also find another great make-up tutorial by her.
- stick to bright, young look
- eyes : bright, open-up, and natural (yellow, brown, or nude)
- lips : lipgloss is my favorite, but you can wear natural pink, nude color is hot right now
- cheeks : if you're fair skinned, go pink or peach. if you're medium, wear brick red or peach. if you're dark skinned, wear brick red or orange.
- nails : yellow, sky blue, pistachio green, hot pink, or red

2. Night
- watch New Years Glam by Michelle Phan on Youtube
- i love long & thick eyelashes
- eyes : sparkly, bold, and dazzling (blue, purple, silver, gold, and smokey eyes)
- lips : red, hot pink, and glittery lips!
- cheeks : like the day thingy, but bronzer will complement your look
- nails : you can wear the day color, silver, gold, blue, maroon, and other gleamy colors. i suggest you to wear a glittery one.

~Hair~

1. Day
- it's better to put your hair down.
- straight or curly, it's up to you
- i love headbands, make sure you use an unique one, with rhinestones or fashionable ornaments (not that "little girl" thing)
- matte hair is hot right now
- mind the side-swept bang that's on right now

2. Night
- updos or downdos, it's up to you
- curled hair is preferred
- if you want to wear headbands, wear a gleamy one like headband with rhinestones
- add shine to your hair
- salon do is always an option, if you're not sure about doing everything yourself

~Last Minute Preps~
  1. Bring lipbalm, lipgloss, and face powder for touch-up
  2. Carry safety pin in case there's something "accidentally" happens to your wardrobes
  3. Bring your brush and hair clips in case your hair mess up with you
  4. Bring tissue or handkerchief
  5. Carry a small bottle of perfume and mint candy/bubblegum
  6. Make sure you have another piece of outfits if your number one outfit suddenly doesn't fit you anymore.
  7. Talk with your close friends so you'll feel more relaxed
  8. Smile! Have confidence and just pray for the best

Kay, that's the last post. I apologize again for the lame posts. I hope this info will be helpful to you. Wish you all a great graduation!

XOXO,
Astrid
