Graduation 2010 - Day 4 - The Shirts & Pants

Kay boys, you know we love you. So don't dissapoint us with your accidentally trashy look. This post is made specially for boys, who need help about what to wear. Keep reading and impress us!

For most boys, fashion isn't a big thing. They're going out with anything they feel comfortable. But sometimes girls could be crazy to see a guy with cool style just like Vogue Hommes' models. Graduation is a huge event where you'll say the last goodbye to your school friends. You'll going to be separated from each other. And it means it's the last time to ask the girl you like. Don't miss the chance and look stylish in front of her!

~SHIRTS~

1. The Daytime
- wear shirts from cotton or other lightweight materials.
- rock out the style! look forward to hellogoodbye, ok go, or greenday
- if you wear bright colored shirt, pair it with tie with another complement color. (e.g. yellow shirt with red tie, light blue with purple, etc.)
- roll the sleeves! i like guys w
- I prefer guys with skinny tie.
- want patterns? striped or tartan only.
- graphical (not overly patterned) shirts are welcome
- you can replace tie with shawl, if it's acceptable.

2. The Night Events
- want something more? try satin, even though i don't really like guys in satin.
- loose the shirts button a bit, it'll look sexy.
- pair up with a metal-strap watch
- roll the sleeves or not, it's up to you
- wear belts, belts with metal buckle are preferred
- satin tie is preferred, no patterns please.

~PANTS~

1. The Daytime
- wear lightweight materials, but wool is welcome
- just like the tie, wear the complement color of the shirt. like if you wear yellow shirt, wear red pants, etc.
- bc this is a formal event, try not to wear tight pants.
- always remember, black and white goes with everything!
- make sure your pants got pocket on it, you're going to need it.

2. The Night Events
- glossy materials are welcome, but i prefer a guy in a matte pants
- dark colored pants are the best for evening
- pocket pants, again!
- black belts are preferred

I hope this info will be helpful for you. Have a great graduation! woot woot

Astrid

Graduation 2010 - Day 3 - The Dress - Day 2 Skipped :(

Kay guys, I'm sooo sorry for not posting anything yesterday. I was too lazy to post anything, besides those interesting pics that bother me. So now, here we go!

Today I'm gonna talk about the wardrobes. Wardrobes hold an important role about how you will look at the graduation. I confine the info to only dress, shirts, boys pants, and accessories. This post is only about the dresses. If you want more, just comment ok?

~DRESS~

This is you graduation, the day you wanna be shine and glam out, so leave all those gloomy clothes. Wear bright stuffs for a sunshine-like looks. The type of the dress you'll wear depends on the time the ceremonial will be hold. If it's on daytime, wear mini dress or sun dress. You can also wear maxi dress, but stick to the summer look. If it's in the evening, you'll probably wear a cocktail or formal dress.

1. The Daytime
- wear mini dress, sun dress, or summer maxi dress.
- stick to bright colors like yellow, orange, green, or blue.
- if you're into trend, wear nude color or tie dye prints.
- i love flower patterns.
- use tons of bangles and bracelets.

2. The Evening Party
- Glam up! make sure your dress are filled with shiny embellishments!
- bring clutch that matches your look.
- chandelier & other big sparkly earrings will complement your look.
- you can use more colors to the evening party, like electric blue, red, even gold. but remember, use bright colors :)
- I don't recommend tie dye and big prints for evening, stick out to solid color or vague prints.

I hope this information will be helpful to you. Have a great graduation!

XOXO,
Astrid

Graduation 2010 - Day 1

Well, those pretty fashion stuffs won't look good on you if you don't look good.

First of all, you need to maximize your features first. You need to know your body character so you know what to do for the graduation preparation.

The Basics :
1. Sleep well, you skin will thank you for a good night sleep. Provide at least 8 hours/day for a nice graduation dream ;)
2. Eat right. You may do a little weight-loss diet. For breakfast, you can choose whole-wheat bread, a salad for lunch appetizer, and don't eat after 07.00 PM. Eat small portion for 6 times per day.
3. Exercise! My best recommendation : marathon running and swimming. If you're not an outdoor-lover like me, you can do some squats and dance routine.
4. No squabbling with friends, if you want a happy, peaceful grad night.
(well, I break this rule -__-)
5. Pamper you skin, it's not a guilt to have a day in spa. Scrub off those dirts, use that softening cream.
6. Come over to your bff's house, so you can do a chit-chat and talking over about the graduation. This will help you two to know what's good for each other.

~Skin Types~

1. Normal skin
- exfoliate for 2 times a week and a day before the day.
- always wear your moisturizer, this will help you to achieve the baby-butt soft skin.
- use face mask, learn how to make it here

2. Dry skin
- you may exfoliate, but don't forget to put tons of moisturizer after
- moisturizer is a must
- use face mask, learn how to make it here

3. Oily skin
- exfoliate for 2 times a week and a day before the day
- wear oil-free, non-comedogenic moisturizer, unless you have acnes.
- use face mask, learn how to make it here

4. Sensitive skin
- exfoliate ONLY with scrub with soft grains, and don't do it too often
- wear moisturizer that's specified for sensitive skin
- use face mask, learn how to make it here

~Exercises~

1. Swimming --> do a lap, or just flowing around. use freestyle stroke for a better result.
2. Running --> do a marathon for a mile everyday. if it's too hard, just bring your pet for a walk.
3. Squats --> maximize the purpose by adding some weights
4. If you have stairs, just climb up and down for 20 times
5. Sit ups for amazing abs!
6. Push ups for gorgeous arms, abs, and calves. especially for guys!
